Representing talent while producing design, advertising and all else in-between. Case studies can be viewed here.
We've been working with Beck's since the start of 2010 to create a bounty of design and advertising in support of the longstanding Music Inspires Art Programme. From designing limited edition fonts, badges and packaging; to producing a TV, VoD and press and outdoor advertising campaign; the activity has been as colourful as it has far-reaching. Our work is ongoing, and this integrated campaign case study will be regularly updated. Additional project specific case studies provide more detail, and are linked to below.
Press and outdoor campaign for September and October 2010
This year, every art label can or bottle of Beck's Pils, Beck's Vier or Beck's Blue comes with a unique code to download a track of your choice from Play.com, absolutely free. YCN have produced a press and outdoor advertising campaign to launch the promotion; dramatising our art label designs. We collaborated with Inventory Studio and Lyndsay Milne for design and art direction, and commissioned Luke Kirwan for photography.

Some special build billboards (below) were produced; and installed live in London and Birmingham by Jamie Brown and Inventory. Advertising was created to appear in local and national media on the same day as the installations. See separate case studies here, and here.

Art Labels for 2010
YCN have produced limited art labels for Beck's this year alongside Grammy award winners Phoenix, Inventory Studio and Valero Doval. We've also designed a limited edition can for Beck's Vier; a first for the brand. A specific case study for the 2010 Art Labels can be read here.

Pub takeovers
The Music Inspires Art Tour ran this year across a network of musically renowned pubs nationally. Venues included The Lock Tavern, Amersham Arms, Rest is Noise, Nation of Shopkeepers; and at each YCN commissioned bespoke artwork for the venues interiors. A specific case study can be read here.
